The Sims 4 Update

I have been trying for a week to figure out how to update my Sims4. I have removed origin & installed it again. I am beyond frustrated. I don't ever remember having to use origin to play The Sims. Any help is appreciated..

It will install on it's own. But you can find the update option under 'my games' in the left corner of you Origin screen. 
Right click on the Sims 4, update.

Sorry. I should have said that I tried that too. I have also clicked on the update now link under the orange tab that is showing up on the game.

Could it be your Sims 4 is updated already?

I don't think so. It won't even let me click on play.
