Ever since the patch that introduced the rebrand I've been having problems with the game graphics and lag. It has been progressively getting worst too.
My PC meets the recommended requirements to run The Sims 4 + all additional content and has been able to play on high graphics settings with no issues in the past.
Now when I load up the game, the graphics seem to default to low for no reason despite being set too high. I've also tried setting graphics to medium and I still get the same issues. As for the lag, I don't have any idea what is causing it.
Other than having MC Command Center, I have no other mods or custom content in my game. MC Command Center is always kept updated. I have also tried loading into the game without my Mods folder in and I still experience the same issue.
I have also tried the following but have had no improvements.
Repairing The Sims 4.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
Uninstalling and reinstalling origin.
Cleared both the game and Origin cache.
I'm really at a loss as to what else I can do and any help will be very much appreciated. Even if I can get the game to run fine on Medium graphics, I will be okay with that.
