The Sims 4: Get to Work question

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I got a digital copy of The Sims 4. However I work at a place where I can get discounts on games now, and was wondering if I bought a disk version of Get To Work, will it work with my digital copy of The Sims 4?

It SHOULD. If you input the code into Origin it should recognize it and you don't even really need the disc because you can download and install through Origin. I know I was able to do that with my TS3 games and I had a mix of digital and physical copies.
