The Sims 4 Get to Work EP Crashing

I have never had any problems with the game crashing before the latest patch including basements was installed. After installing the 'get to work' ep the game crashes on me after 5 mins of gameplay EVERYTIME. Most of the time it happens right after I try to save, but it has happened pther times too. Im so frustrated. Has anyone else been having this problem? The game is unplayable.

I've tried 'fixing my game' through Origin. Did not help at all. I've posted on multiple forums, no help. This EP has been nothing but a head ache for me. Im beyond annoyed, at this point I just want a refund until either its fixed or Im just over playing sims all together.
