The Sims 3

     Hello,

                Today I went to play the Sims 3. I missed that game, I have been playing the Sims 4 ever since it came out. Well, I have the 70's 80's and 90's expansion pack on the Sims 3 and when I went to play my game, it asked for me to insert the disk in order to play the game. This wouldn't be a problem, but I can't find the disk! Please help me, I would really appreciate it.

@unicornturtles because that game is the most recently released on you have, it wants the disc. 

To get around this, follow these steps carefully: 

• As a precaution make a backup of your TS3 folder: http://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2011/03/faq-what-files-should-i-backup.html
• Make sure that your game is registered on Origin: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/Information-How-to-Register-The-Sims-3/m-p/387162
• Then manually uninstall the game: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:TS3_Uninstall (I'm unable to currently find a better worded article, so I'm sorry if it's a little confusing) 
• Now open Origin (you should have it downloaded, if not: http://origin.com/download ) and go to your My Games. 
• Right - click on the Sims 3 icon and choose "View Game Details" -  scroll down and you will see your game there
• Click on it and choose download
