I bought a brand new PC and install Win 10, all the games I wanted are working perfectly, on the highest settings. I installed TH3 from Origin (I don't have CD-ROM) and it's not even launching. The first time I double-clicked on the icon there was a pop-up about .net framework 3,5 that I've enabled and since then I don't even get a pop-up. The Origin is starting but nothing more happens, not even an error. I tried all the solutions I've found except from unistalling because it took a long time to install 15 pieces game.
Here is my dxdiag.

@puzzlezaddictThank you very much, I'll call them tomorrow. The disk installations is the last on my list, since I don't really wanna buy an usb CD-ROM and I've gave 2 packs to my friend. It was definitely before 2012 because I remember Origin wasn't required.

@535Fallen535 Please undo the compatibility settings you have for the game, or at least for the launcher. Sims 3 (mostly) runs fine in Windows 10. Please also clear Origin's cache:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
then repair the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 3 icon, and select Repair.
Just in case .NET Framework 3.5 didn't install properly, try running the .NET repair tool from Microsoft:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135
If none of this helps, let me know whether you've ever had two EA/Origin accounts merged. What you've described is a symptom of not having an active product key for the Sims 3 base game, and a valid key can become deactivated, or not be transferred at all, during an account merge.

@puzzlezaddict
I tried with all compatibility option, including the win 10. I did repair the game and all the expansions. I've just clean the cache and did .net repair. I did merge 2 accounts recently, I didn't test if TS3 work before doing so. I had TS# on one account and TS4 on the other one so I asked help desk to move TS3 to the other account.

@535Fallen535 An all-disc install would get around the problem, provided the base game disc was manufactured before September 2012. Newer discs require Origin to manage the install process, so you'd just wind up in the same place as you are now. A few people have also reported issues with their external disc drives not recognizing or being able to read Sims 3 discs, so it might be better to borrow one from a friend and test it before spending money on it yourself.
You'd also need to uninstall the Origin version of Sims 3 and then clean your computer's registry, either manually or with a tool like Piriform's CCleaner. Or you could use Revo Uninstaller to remove the game and related data. The point is that if there were leftover registry entries from the Origin install, that could prevent the disc install from launching.
The issue with merging accounts can be fixed by an EA customer support rep, provided you can convince that person that it's a real issue. (Some players have been told that this doesn't happen, but the pile of reports about it say otherwise.) Here are two posts on the same subject that may help:

Support is on limited hours right now and slowly expanding, but it should always be open for live chat between 9 am and midnight GMT, Monday through Saturday.

@535Fallen535 @madpodo First the disc is useless. The disc version will install SecuROM and SafeDisc. Neither is supported by the Windows operating system anymore. If you install from the disc version you will need to acquire the manual 1.69 version patch and install it. EA used Origin for DRM after SecuROM was no longer supported. Recently EA has changed the DRM for pc users to the EA app. The EA app does not run on IOS (now?). Mac users still need to use Origin. When you download and install the EA app you will notice Origin gets uninstalled. Pc users no longer need Origin. There seems to be an issue if pc users still use Origin to launch the game. I have been chasing store items not staying installed for a while and all work arounds stopped working. Recently I reinstalled the game from scratch only using the EA app. The game installs and runs. Store items can be downloaded through the new open downloads dashboard option in the game. Other thesims3.com features can be accessed through the game with new options. There is aback door to the thesims3.com store from ther game although it's a little hard to find. My Sims 3 and Sims 4 games have been stable and very playable for the last couple of weeks using only the EA app.

@madpodo Please describe your own issue in a little more detail: does the launcher open, do you see an error message when trying to play, etc.? Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

And let me know whether you're using Origin or the EA App as well. There's no need to switch to the EA App if Origin still works for you; it's just easier to troubleshoot if I know what you have installed.
