The Sims 3 late night compatiblity

Hi I have The Sims 3 updated to version 6.5.1.011031 and the launcher lists my game as "up to date." However, when attempting to run Late Night, it tells me that there is a compatibility issue and that I need to update the base game.  This is a clean install from the retail copies. Could someone direct me to a thread that details how to fix this issue? Thank you in advance.

@89q1ijzwkrze  Run the Super Patch to manually patch your game to 1.67, and then Late Night should install fine.  It might still want to update itself—LN came with a separate small patch, unlike later packs—but that's not a problem, and the launcher should handle that.

It worked!  Thank you so much.  Now to find worlds and items that don't cost tons of real money...

Rflong is one of the most popular world creators in Sims 3, and she's still active.  As far as I know, none of her worlds use custom content, although you can add some on your own if you want.
