The Sims 3: Invalid e-mail/password

i have recently reinstalled The Sims 3 to walk down memory lane,

But i was greeted with such a crippling issue to me. Whenever i try to log into my sims 3 account from the launcher, the login window closes up and then comes back on without even logging me in, i already tried logging in from the game itself without success, it says that my e-mail address/password is not valid. 


I have done some research and found out the clearing the cache of my IE browser could work, which i had no luck with either. 

I also already tried deleting the file that had my email address in the The Sims 3 downloads folder that also didn't fix anything

. I am so eager to play this game, yet so frustrated that i can't log onto my account.

@VIPERHDKFinally found a fix, if you've already tried everything but changing your password, changing your password will maybe fix the problem, as it did for me, case closed. Hope someone keeps this post up for future reference.
