The Sims 3 Ambitions not working

I recently did a digital download of Pets, Late Night, and Ambitions, but Ambitions isn't working. Some of the in-game locations seem to be showing up (Tatoo Parlor, Fire Station), but Ambitions isn't showing as one of my expansion packs on my launch menu and I'm not getting any of the features, like the actual careers. My game seems to be crashing more often too. Any advice?

Have you already tried to uninstall and reinstall Ambitions?
