@JOISIMONE  Try uninstalling "the hard way," and reinstalling, then repairing Sims 4.

@SimmersLori  Are you getting exactly the same error?  Try disabling your antivirus and then repairing the game.  If you're seeing a different error, please post a screenshot.

@sarahito92  I've merged your post with another thread on the same issue.  Please try the recommendation in the accepted solution, and post back if it doesn't work.  (Be sure to uninstall Origin "the hard way.")

Unable to Launch Sims 4 since the new update - I get an error everytime saying "The Ordinal 101 Could not be located in the dynamic link library."  Help anyone?! I was able to play Sims 4 2 days ago and now can't play it

Thanks very much for your suggestions, but I'm a bit wary of deleting anything in case I can't then reinstall it! Do you think it's likely that EA will fix the issue themselves in the next couple of days, or would you recommend following your suggested fix instead?

@Housebuscar Try at least deleting cache files and the game repair. That's nothing you can't reinstall.

@Haylesfitz918--right-click on the game in your Origin library, and then on 'repair'.
