I HAVE ALL THE SIMS 3 GAMES FOR PC. EVERYTIME I GO INTO PLAN AN OUTFIT THE GAME CRASHES, SAYS AN UNEXPECTED ERROR OCCURS AND WINDOWS NEEDS TO SHUT DOWN. EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT YOU HAVE TO SAVE THE GAME EVERY 5 MINUTES AND HOPE AND PRAY THAT YOU DON'T GET ERROR 12. I HAVE GONE ON THE FORUMS AND IT SEEMS 75% OF USERS HAVE THE SAME ISSUES YET NOTHING IS DONE ABOUT IT AND YOU CONTINUE TO SELL GAMES THAT CONTINUE TO HAVE INCREASINGLY AMOUNTS OF PROBLEMS. AS A CONSUMER THAT IS VERY FRUSTRATING. OUR VOICES CAN NO LONGER GO UNHEARD SOMETHING GOTTA GIVE... A SOLUTION NEEDS TO BE GIVEN. THIS IS UNFAIR TO THE PERSONS THAT TAKE THE TIME AND MONEY TO PURCHASE EA GAMES.
A VERY FRUSTRATED CONSUMER,

This is a brand new family as this is the umpteenth time I delete every single game and reload it on to the computer. I created it about 3 weeks ago and every time whether it be this family a new one or an old one... One things for sure at some point it WILL kick me out of the game stating the message on my previous post. So what I do is play for 10 minutes and save, play for 10 minutes and save. Guaranteed at some point it will either not let me save and give me error 12 or kick me off completely. With this one and only family I have right now... Every time I go into plan their outfit sure enough it will kick me out.
What is custom content. All I have in my games are things I have purchased from Sims3.com. Furniture, clothes, hairstyles and such. I don't speak computer so I don't know what mods are.
How do I lower my graphics setting? Does that have anything to do with my video card? When the Sims 3 Pets came out I had to upgrade mine as it wasn't supported by the game. I went to a friend that has knowledge with computers and he suggested maybe it was my video card and I just upgraded the one I had about a month ago. Im so confused I really need your help in resolving this issue.
Thanks,
Vicky Saez

The graphic card you have should be adequate (couldn't look it up yesterday cause the site I usually use was having maintenence).
Your RAM and CPU on the other hand is on the low side, hence you get Error 12 (RAM).
Try the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps/td-p/714/
Custom Content is third party content you can download from other sides (clothing, items, ..). If you download from the exchange, you most probably do have some.
Mods are third party content that alter the game code and change the way the game works. If you don't know what they are, you probably don't have anything like that.
