Hey all,
Yesterday I got super excited because of the insane sale that's going on with the Sims 4 now.
Naturally I bought the game and downloaded the whole 15GB onto an external hard drive. This took about 5 hours, considering the wifi where I live is annoyingly slow, but after it was downloaded I managed to play for about 20 minutes. I then shut down the computer to go do some shopping and having dinner, and when I came back and wanted to start the game through Origin, it needed to download the whole 15GB again?
I was pretty pissed off but did it anyway, but this morning it wanted me to do this AGAIN... are you kidding me? The game file is in the right folder, the external drive is mounted... what is going on here? I just want to play my new game 
I'm running it on a macbook pro (2017), but I doubt that's the problem because it ran fine when I actually got it to work.
Please let me know if you have any idea of what I can try to fix this, thanks!
