After I have downloaded the SE, the game became slow and started crashing. I googled what to do and I removed the EA/Sims cache and things went back to normal.
Then a new patch was released and since then the game is unbearable. It slow, the reaction time is slow. I can't speed up the game, I can just about save it and then... it crashes. It doesn't log certain actions, e.g. a Sim child is eating but the sim child is getting more hungry at the same time
I repaired the game, deleted temp files, deleted cache... I bought my laptop around April, it's a lenovo ideapad l340 gaming so I think it should be fine with the sims 4 and all the expansion packs. Like I said, I had no issues prior to the SE.
Is it a common problem or is it just me???
thanks x

@olka0311 It sounds like this might be your issue:
It's related to Winterfest, so it only applies if your sims are celebrating or have recently celebrated the holiday. There are several workarounds you can try, all of which are described here:

If that's not the problem, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
