Sims4 wont open

I am on Pc and have tried just about everything. I completely redownloaded origin and the game, cleared my cache, tried to repair in origin, and still it won't work. When I press the launcher it does nothing and when i press play in origin it responds but nothing opens.

Was this before or after Sims 4 updates on June 3 and 4? I hope this helps. Update Notes

@nichend  I've moved your post to the Sims 4 PC tech section.

Please move your entire Sims 4 user data folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  Don't add anything to this folder yet; just see whether you can start a new save and play for a bit.  Let me know either way.

If you can't launch the game even in a clean folder, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
