It originally was giving me problems with one of my mods after the new update, so I uninstalled everything related then re did it. it works sort of not all mods are there although it’s in the list that pops up and after 5 minutes of gameplay it shuts down like my ENTIRE computer and doesn’t power back on for a while Is it my computer the update or just me?

@lanalovesoreos Sims 4 shouldn't shut down your computer entirely, although it can trigger a more serious issue that leads to an emergency shutdown. Please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Please also let me know whether you see a BlueScreen when your computer shuts down.

I thought I was the only one. Ever since I did the update (Mind you I'm using a Macbook Pro) my game just gets stuck and says "application can't respond" .. my game freezes ever since I update the game. It won't ever let me continue.

@itstyradoll Please move your entire Mods folder to the desktop, delete localthumbcache.package, and test. If the game works, you know the issue is one or more mods.
If you still can't play, please post in the Mac forum:

Include the full specs of your Mac—everything under About This Mac, including the OS, except for the serial number—and state that you've tested with no mods or custom content.

In my game, it won't let me add lots and all my button icon are random ( i have mods and cc)

@Bab3sBraat You'll need to sort through your mods and custom content to figure out what's causing the issue. The 50/50 method can make the process more efficient:

I get a blue screen when my game shuts down, what does that mean?
August 2021
@annesondergaard Do you see a screen that's blue, or do you see a Blue Screen of Death? For the first, please describe what else happens, as in, does your computer work normally afterwards, and if not, what does it do? A BSOD would be a serious system issue, not directly a problem with the game.
Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
