Ok so yesterday there was a new update, it taken me the whole day to complete it ( it kept getting stuck at a certain point),but when it finally finish updating. I couldn’t open thesims4, I noticed the file icon have changed into a white and blue square, every time I tried to open it, it shows this Message “the file or directory is corrupt and unreadable”. when I try to repair it through origin it want to reinstall the game, although I still have all the sims 4 files and data in electronic arts folder. I don’t want to reinstall the game unless it’s the last option, can you please help me ?
