Has anyone found a fix for the Sims 4 through Steam becoming unregistered in Origin?

@TheSuperWolf100 i have talked to support 4 times now with this issue and they have never mentioned this would be a possibility. i will try again

so miraculously after asking chat help about this 4 seperate times they decided to actually fix it when i asked for a new code for the game... although no new code was ever issued to me... guess you just gotta ask more forcefully for them to fix it.
