Sims won't open at all

Is anybody else having problems playing The Sims 4? I keep getting a message saying "We are unable to activate the Sims 4 Premium Edition on this computer using your account. Please try again later." This is my first time trying to play since the latest patch. I do not use mods or CC and I have already tried repairing the game. I also tried to go offline on Origin and that didn't work either. It's rather annoying that I can't play my game.

Are you sure you are login to your account where you have game?

If yes - are you able to open Origin and see the game in your library?

If not - use your e-mail address instead of nickname when login.

Yes, logged in with correct info, able to see the game in the library, just won't open for some reason.

That would suck if I could not play my game until they decide to fix things. Ugh. I didn't change anything, so I know it's not a problem on my side.
