Sims will not load after the update

I’ve been playing the sims 4 before the update and it has worked but now that I have updated the sims it won’t work. When I open the sims it will load up then a couple of seconds later it will automatically minimize the screen and when I open it back up the screen is white. I have no mods or cc in so I don’t know what the problem is.

@jamayiab1  Try disabling Origin in-game: hover over your username, select Application settings, then the Origin in-game header, and disable the option at the top.

If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
