Sims progress disappeared

Hello. I don’t know really how to explain this but I opened my sims 2 days ago and it was just like I never played. All my progress was gone and also some of the images were not loading anymore, on the main page for example the expansion packs images were not appearing, when I tried to create a sim i am not even able to see the sim, i can choose name, traits but the sims won’t appear (I will attach pictures). I bought an external hard drive 2 weeks ago and transfered sims 4 there because there were no more space for it on my Mac, I’m not sure if that’s the reason everything just disappeared.
1. Close the game
2. Right-Click on the game in Origin
3. Hit Repair game.
