When i click on the sims it says its missing file " 135dec40:29f00e76:00000084:18a1dd51". I have tried a bunch of things but nothing works for windows 8.

And my security software is Avast AVG antivirus  Standard smile

@Bellsanxx This is usually caused by Defender. Did you turn that off ? Don't think Windows 8.1 has ransomware protection though so maybe it is avg blocking the user folder in your case.

Hello @crinrict  i have now uninstalled all my virus detector thingy's and my defender is turned off, the same message still pops up when i try to open sims.

Hi @crinrict so the message disappeared and now my sims just wont start at all. I tried to repair it and reinstall it but it still doesn't work. Thx for trying to help me haha Standard smile)
