Could you try death by drowning ? That's working fine for me (unless I'm testing the wrong household. Which lot do I need to test ?)

Heat is a bit difficult as it's currently spring

death by drowning works @crinrict  just tried it I think the trouble is only with moodlet based death

I only tried wishing well once but that's not guaranteed death.

As your save was in the middle of spring I didn't try the others cause I would have needed to invest more time to get to summer or winter.

If you have a save, at that stage, I'm happy to test that.

He died just fine a few moments after.

but I've had them overheating with the burning to death thing for a long time before and nothing happened

ok I went back and tested it again he did die but it took about an hour sim time it use to happen much faster did they turn it down or something ?
