Sims University won't let my sims leave!

After sending my sims back to university to get their degree, after they graduated they can't leave. The moving truck just drives around the block and drops them beck off. It won't give them the option of dropping out and it seems like they are stuck there. What do I do?

I'm having a similar problem. Once I enroll in University and my sims get on the moving truck they can make it out of the town. But once university finishes loading, the game treats it like a town. So it only lets me LIVE at the university. My sims can't take classes without paying and the ones that originally were enrolled disappear.

Both are bugs. Could you guys post here (which ever applies to you):

Actually I was able to fix mine by simply uninstalling and then reinstalling.

With the same savegame or did you start a new one ?

I have the same problem when the term ends and the truck doesn't even come to pick them up and take them home
