Sims Skin Texture Looks Low Res and Has Shadows All Over the Body.

I have having a strange issue with the skin textures on my sims, they look like something out of a Borderlands game. I have tried troubleshooting already by the following methods to no avail:

    - Set settings all to low, tried compressed and uncompressed setting.

    - Tried repairing game and reinstalling game.

    - Tried skin mods, also tried removing all mods.

My PC specs:

    OS: Windows 10 64-bit

    CPU: Intel i5 4690K 3.50 GHz

    RAM: 16 GB @ 3900 MHz

    GPU: GeForce GTX 970 (4GB)

What am I missing here? Is there a config seting i can change? or a Mod or some update download I am missing?

@Euphoria-XXX  Please move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  Don't add anything to it yet; just see whether sims look normal in CAS.

If they don't, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Please also let me know whether you've ever changed any settings in the Nvidia Control Panel.  It's fine if you don't remember; I'm just curious whether there's anything specific.

Well the Nvidia control panel actually did seem to be the problem. Once i changed a few global settings, it fixed the issue!

Thank you for pointing me in that direction Standard smile

@Euphoria-XXX  That's great to hear.  Out of curiosity, which settings did you change?  I'd like to be able to know what to recommend the next time I see this issue.

Yes of course, I have added the screenshots. These exact settings will get rid of the issue if it ever occurs, could just be an issue with driver updates on my end that changed the settings in the first place since the graphics used to work fine when I played it last (probably a few months ago), But its good now.
