Sims 4 wont let me go online

All you have to do is close Origin, right click it and go to run as administrater. Then sign in to origin and you should be online and ready to open up your gallery!!

Same problem here.

I'm running Windows 8.1 and have followed the following steps:

1. Close out of Sims 4 and Origin (Exited from the Menu)

2. Right clicked on Sims 4 icon and chose 'Run as Administrator".

3. When the message came up asking to allow the program to make changes, chose "Allow"

4. When prompted, signed into Origin.

5. Sims 4 launched, still offline.

6. Chose "Go Online", loads indefinitely and does not allow me online.

My machine is connected to a wired network and is running without issues.  

Any further support that is not just telling us to do the steps above?

I used abbygalsimmer's strategy but when I went on origin a day later, I tried the strategy again but it didn't work. So anyone who know someone please share!!!! Ît wîłł hëłp!!!

I've tried the exit origin and run as administration but it still won't let me go online I don't know how to fix it and be able to go online HELP!!
