Sims 4 won't load

When I open Sims, it loads slowly. Then when the EA, Maxis and title screens have passed, the full screen immediately minimizes into a tiny bar in the middle of the desktop. When you open it, it's just a blank screen with the title music playing. It also refuses to close, and I am forced to restart the laptop to (usually) get it working again. Unfortunately it does not want to work any more and I don't know what to do. Any help?

Could you post a DxDiag? This gives us a bit more information into your system and what is going on.
