Sims 4 will not load correctly after Origin Update (10/09/18)

I'm done. I am seriously done with Origin. Every time they do a release of a new version or patch it blows the Sims 4 up. Game loads and either I get a blank splash screen or the splash screen window is minimized. I reported this issue back in August/September. I was asked to provide additional information. I provided it. No follow-up. I talked to an Origin engineer on the phone, all he had me do was repair the game, which I had done countless number of times. I managed to get it to run again by either running it in 32-bit or as a system admin. The game was working just fine on my laptop, right up until last night (10/09/18) I exited the game to update Origin. Then I was back to the same problem, except neither of my work arounds work.

 

You have a great product in the Sims. But your technical support quite frankly sucks. And it's not just my laptop, but my daughter's as well. It was working on her until the update. We 've spent close to $200 on this game and can't get any assistance. The message boards both on Origin and on the internet are littered with users complaining that the Sims 4 won't load post Origin updates, why is it so hard to get a response?

@badbandit1970 do you have any CC or mods?

Could you post a DxDiag? This gives us a bit more information into your system and what is going on.
