Sims 4 strange download

I spent my well earned money on the sims 4 game thinking I could start playing it that day, but it runs out that the download will take 15 hours. I was trying to be optimistic and said okay, I'll wait it out. I checked in in the download an hour later and it was at 8% and then 3 hours later I check in the download and it's 5%. It's going very slow and it goes back. What can I do to fix this problem and make the download faster?
