Sims 4 stops responding at loading screen.

Every time I launch The Sims 4, on the first loading screen and it freezes, and on top it says its not responding. Is it my laptop, a Toshiba Satellite, or is it the game? If its the game, then how do I fix it? Or can I fix it at all?
