Sims 4 seasons won't download

hi, 

I just installed sims 4 on my new pc and when I went to play, I noticed that sims 4 told me I had the seasons expension pack, but all the content was missing from the game.I then saw that it hadn't downloaded with the rest of the expension packs and every time I try to download it, I get an error message from origin. I am frustrated and I just want to enjoy my game. I already wasted my entire weekend trying to figure it out and I'm starting to lose my mind. 

Anyone know how to fix this? I never played seasons before, since m pc broke 3 days after it came out and I only now got a new one, but I never had problems like this before. I already tried to clean my cache and changed my wifi connection.

Try these tips:

1. Fully exit out of the game and Origin. - If exiting Origin isn't working, open Task manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc) search for a file called ts4.exe. Click on it and select end process.

2. Clear Origin Cache - https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

3. Try uninstalling/reinstalling Origin. - https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/

You don't loose any Sims 4 files, as they are installed in different folders. If you are concerned about this copy the Sims 4 folder to a USB key.

4. Restart the computer and try downloading the DLC again to see if Origin automatically starts downloading any free and/or owned content.
