Sims 4 released for Mac, but not the Demo??

Why would the full version be available without the CAS demo being available? Is this ever coming?

I should not have to go through so much effort to play a program demo that already exists in the full version. At this point it has nothing to do with them finishing it, they just aren't making it available to consumers
