Sims 4 relationship problem

has anyone ever had problems with sims cheating or flirting with other sims when not being controlled? For some reason when I play other sims the others cheat on their sims, and no their DNA thing isn't anything that would make them do that. It's kind of annoying. Actually on my sims wedding day while I was playing one sim the other kissed someone else, and ruined the wedding... is it just me or is that a problem that can be fixed in a patch?

This is something that's by design.

They do interact and get romantic while you're not playing them.
