Sims 4 pet coat color won’t change

I have noticed this is happening consistently and it’s bugging me. When i go to add a pet to my household whether in CAS or adopting the coat color of the pet won’t change even when i select it. My MC command center is updated and so is my computer do i need to change something in my settings? Need help with this

Same here. All cats are stuck with an orange tabby fur pattern and all dogs are stuck with a dalmation fur pattern  no matter what I do.

Same thing has happened to my game. Same fur colors too.

Same all the dogs in my game are all the same color and anytime I choose a different color in CAS they won’t change. Smaller dogs have brown and black fur color and larger dogs have Dalmatian coat.

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

• Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
• Tray Folder
• Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
• Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
• Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
• ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
• Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

I noticed I have the same problem. Does anyone know if its cc related or not?

I did that but it didn't work. So I will check which cc is causing it.

Also, does anyone know if I can batch fix my cc with S4S that can fix this problem?

@DadsSpaghettios Same! The only way I can see their true fur colour is if I put clothes on them.

I found the issue, if you could locate this exact file: ClientThumbnailsDelta0.package
Delete it! It solved the issue for me.

The file is from S4S studio, and somehow it appears in the mods folder. It causes also other glitches in the game. I found the information about this file on the Sims forum.
