Sims 4 not working

Hi, I just updated my game to the latest version and now my game won’t work. I thought it was just the mods in my game but I have deleted all of them out and now it’s running very slow ( didn’t do this before even with the mods in) any suggestions? And also it won’t let me close out and I’ve had to use the taskbar multiple times to get out of the game. All my settings are on low also.

Removing mods is not enough.
Move the mods folder to the desktop.
Delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder - important!
Fix the game in Origin.
Origin/Library -right click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
Turn on the game to create a new, empty mods folder and check if a game is working now without mods and CC.
Now you have wait for a newly updated version of mods.
