Sims 4 not working

I have been having difficulties with my Sims 4, I did have CC in my game and there was an update so I don't whether that's what killed it. I like to build in the Sims so I was building my Sims a house, I then had a notification come up saying, The Sims 4 has stopped working, and it does this every time I build on that lot. so I moved the house to a different lot and it did it again. At this point I deleted all my CC. which I only had one hairstyle. my when I play with the family it doesn't break down. only in build mode. I have uninstalled my game and reinstalled it. I have all the packs.

Can you move the mods folder to your desktop, right click the game in Origin and choose 'repair game' and see it that will work?

found out that its because of the wallpaper. every time I go on the wallpaper the game crashes? how do I stop this??
