Sims 4 not working since update [ Edited ]

Been told to post my problem here as staff can't seem to work out the problem.
Been through so many  steps to try and solve inc 
Reinstalling Origin and game
CC cleaner
Graphics card
Deleting certain folders
Errors on windows update (CBS)
Repair


I have no mods at all.

Before 6th June update.

Everything continues in the background.
It's when I play in window mode and full screen,
Screen just suddenly pauses and yet i still hear what's going on as they continue their lives.
It's in game itself.
I have tried it on a different family thing after a clean reinstall with the same outcome.
It's been fine for years and then all of a sudden after that update...

Could you elaborate what you mean by screen pauses ? Does it go black ?

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

Everything pauses graphic wise.
As stated, can still hear them getting on with their lives unless I physically pause game. But screen doesn't move.
This can happen 2 mins into the game or even 1hr into the game.
If I (for example) open Task manager, see all running normally and close TM again, on the Sims screen, the TM window is still open.
Refresh of the page, exiting and restarting game...no difference and don't get this in my other games.

@LisaLadybirD82 I was reading your post and wondering what kind of freeze you're experiencing?

Is it like everything stands still and the sound goes on? Or are all you Sims standing still and you still hear the sounds?

Screen freezes...nothing moves. Graphics stop, game continues in the background/moves on regardless.
I can Manually pause, FF the game, but I can't SEE that happening, as the screen is "dead" within the sims game.

there is an issue where certain actions can freeze the game but usually only the Sims are frozen when that happens and everything else still moves so that doesn't sound like your issue at all.

Have you tried a fresh save for testing purposes yet ? Does it also happen on that or only on one specific save game ?

It happens in new and saved Sims stories.
Yes tried a fresh save and it's the whole screen.If i minimise Sims, the rest of my pc is fine and works as it should.

If it works in that mode, then it's a background program interfering and you will need to find out which one.

Yes, unfortunately, that was done in the first call of 2 to EA services.

Could you take a video of what you're experiencing and upload somewhere ?
