Sims 4 not installing

On the 6th September, I got the Sims 4 on my windows 8 computer. It downloaded fine, but when I come to install, it says "Error: The VC++ Runtime redistributable package was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue (false) " It also happened on the demo as well. This is on Origin.
