Sims 4 needs update?

can someone PLEASE help me, I haven't been able to play my game for two days now! everytime I get into the sims it says my game
needs to be updated in order to successfully save a game yet theres no update/I can't find one. Origin is no help what so ever.

Also all my previous familys have been deleted and new ones won't be saved and I'm guessing that's because of the above issue.
PLEASE HELP!

for the first part in the orign my games tab right click the game icon click on check for update

I did that yesterday after reading another post with the same issues, but there is no update avaliable. Also I read to repair the game in orgin and I did that but it didn't fix anything..

did you try logging out of origin closing it down relaunching and see if it works and or possibly run origin as admin save shave gone missing for others too
