Sims 4 - need a refund

★★★ Newbie

I bought the Sims 4 digital download through Origin today on my Mac then when I went to play, realised I couldn't download it as it can only be accessed through Windows - I only learnt of this after I had paid the £50, of course.

So I went through the Origin Great Game Guarantee refund and requested a refund on the base that the game wouldn't connect to server.

EA said that it would take up to 48 hours to review my case, to see if I can get the refund. However, less than 4 hours later, I went back onto the page and my case is not there? They say I have no case and when I click on the "more details" in my order history in Origin, it comes up with a "page not found".

However, the game is still in the "My Games" section of Origin and they think the refund is still being processed, so won't allow me to request again??

I have no idea what to do - if a Mac compatible game is released in the future, would my copy that I have downloaded be eligible/changed?

Hi StephanieJade,

You can always run the Sims 4 on a Windows 7/8 Boot Camp partition.
