Sims 4 keeps asking to install....again and again....

I am stuck in an endless cycle of trying to install on origin after downloand via origin.   I click install and in about 2 seconds it says the game has been installed, but instead of the play button I still get the install button.   I tried playing the game from the install file but it tells me that the game is not installed!!

I have tried re installing origin, editing the registry, and need some more options please!
