Sims 4 is too Big

So I just downloaded the Sims 4 create-a-sim demo and I've found that the resolution the game chose for me is way too big to the point where I can't even find the buttons to even change the resolution. Does anyone have any advice on how to start it up with a smaller resolution or in windowed mode? I was thinking of just buying Sims 4 and after seeing this, I'm glad I didn't.

Would you be able to change it in game? You can quickly go to the menu by using esc.
