Hello, I am having issues with my Sims 4 game. I wanted to play the sims 4, so I double clicked my sims 4 desktop icon. It led me to updating the sims. I tried to, but it asked for a windows pop up that never came up. Thought I had to get legacy, but it won't download because it says I do not have the basegame, which I do have. The game is not on my library, as I said, and when going to "Browse Games" "Sims 4" "Sims 4", it says that I have the game. This is frustrating because I do not want to loose my save files or my paid expansion packs. Please help!

@Juubeez It's Origin being weird. Try a clean boot:

You can try just manually disabling "Origin Client Service" and "Origin Web Helper Service," which might be enough.

I got it to repair, but it don't download any of my packs. The window pop-up it needs to download the files still won't pop up. Is it my computer, origin, or my game?

I can not open the game, it redirects me to Origin and says I need to update my game. It says "Your Download is Paused, Origin needs to download files and is waiting for permission. Please choose "Yes" when Windows Prompts you for permission."

Sorry for the delayed response, but I tried both of those and Origin still asks for a pop up that never shows up. Is it because of my game or is it origin being weird?
