Trying to even start the Sims 4 is just not happening.
I've been trying for about a week now to try and get my Sims 4 to work,
I've tried;
>Checked all updates - OS, Sims 4, Origin, Hardware
>Repairing Game
>Clearing Cache
>Turning off Anti-Virus
>Deavitivated Origin in Game
>Removing ALL Mods.
>Uninstalled Sims 4 and Origin (completely) - then reinstalled it.
>Clean Boot
>Restarted Computer
This is really starting to get upsetting, and I'm so sad.
I don't really know what information is needed so;

@puzzlezaddict Thank you so much!!
So what ended up happening was as trying to sort it out myself to fix it, as I don't want to bother anyone.
And one advice was to add Origin and Sims 4 to Protected Application. Once I turned that off, it seems to be working.
So I don't know why it wasn't working before I did the Protected Application thing, but it seems to be working fine now.
I'm so sorry for wasting your time.

@BrokeBogan Please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/
Please also let me know which antivirus you use. A few of them can still interfere when they're supposedly disabled.

@BrokeBogan The errors in your dxdiag show that Sims 4 is crashing due to a component of Malwarebyte's anti-exploit feature. So Malwarebytes may not be completely disabled after all. Try disabling all of the features listed here:
If Sims 4 works, you can reenable a few at a time until the game won't launch; then you'll know that one of the settings is a problem, and you can test the last few you enabled to figure out which one. I'd be curious to know which setting or settings are a problem.
If disabling all the settings doesn't help, or if you want a quick test before you go through that whole process, try uninstalling it completely, using the provided support tool:
As long as you don't do anything aside from trying to play Sims 4, your computer should be safe. Then you can reinstall Malwarebytes and start messing with the settings.

@BrokeBogan You didn't waste my time at all. In fact, it's actually quite useful to know which setting allowed the game to run again, because you're far from the only person to use Malwarebytes.

Been having this problem lately, and didn't know about Malwarebytes. I have that on my machine.
I went into the settings (exploit protection), and disabled the one for cyber fox, just on a guess, and the game started.
Hope this is not a one off thing, and I have to fiddle with something under the hood again sometimes soon, not much of a techanic but thanks for your advice.
