In order to download my games to my PC I upgraded to Windows XP to 5.1.2600 (SP3 Build 2600) and still cannot download Sims 4, Sims 2 or Bejeweled. So where did I go wrong?

What does Origin say? Any error message or anything?
Run Origin as Admin?

Can we please get some of these things back on Sims 4 that we had on other Sims such as toddler stage -- that was the cutest stage and I miss it. Better neighborhoods, more places to go.... no restaurants, stores, games, movies.... No pools, not many toys for children or outside activities, ball, things like that. Please give us some of those things back.

Try installing it from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.as
I believe it is also in the game's main data folder (in \Origin Games\)
\Sims4\__Installer\vc\vc2013\redist\vcredist_x86.e
Don't have the game installed near me at the minute so that probably isn't exactly correct but it should be darn close.
Run it as Administrator.
This seems to have fixed some VC errors for others:
