Sims 4 get famous code not working

My partner just got me sims 4 get famous for christmas through argos, its a digital download, as soon as i typed the code in to redeem it said the code had been used, it was in a dvd case wrapped in cellophane brand new, cant get hold of argos and obviously ea, 

Any suggestions? Or same issues? Thanks

This is also my only origins account, ive got sims 4 on there and some other sims 4 expansions. 

Clicked the redeem product code, typed it in, clicked confirm as soon as it said sims 4 get famous, and it said its already been used, when its brand new, and still wrapped on cellophane
