Sims 4 game is unresponsive [ Edited ]

So here's the problem.

The Sims was working fine for ages. The all of a sudden everything I click on won't show me the options. I clicked on different things (ie. stove, fridge, my own sim!) and nothing would pop up. I then tried to save and exit but I couldnt even open the options menu!! Whats weird is that I can still zoom in and out, and rotate my point of view; but i just can't click on ANYTHING. I cant even save :,(( please help!!!!

Do you have any mods or CC (custom content)? Try taking that out.

I dont have any mods or any cc, i just installed the game andit was working fine, i've been looking for sloutions but nothing is working
