okay so basically, I reset my Sims 4 to the factory settings. after that i opened the game, created a random household, saved and then exited the game. I opened my documents folder, clicked electronic arts and the sims 4 folder wasn't there at all. i'm over here dying b/c i wanna add custom content to my game but again, tHE SIMS 4 FOLDER ISN'T THERE
so yeah can i have some help lmao

Hi @XOdarling
are you using Wndows OneDrive or other cloud services ? Most often windows uses the folder there, especially if the folder is not recreated.

@XOdarling , (love your name, BTW! ) I'm not the most tech savvy person here, but after you found out the Sims4 folder was missing, can you start your game? If so, what happens? Can you reload the household you created an saved before exiting?
I ask these questions just incase it helps someone figure out what is going on. Best of luck!

yes, I was able to start my game after i found out my folder was missing. when i start my game, its pretty normal as if nothing's wrong with it. yes, I am able to reload that household. lmao im still so confused why its not there like wtf fight me ea

@XOdarling, thanks for replying to my questions. Since you can both Play the game and play the house you made , I would guess that the folder or file is located somewhere, just not in the right place or maybe it really is there but is just not showing up. I'm not that tech savvy, so maybe somebody like @crinrict can help you! Best of luck and tell us if and how you fix it!

yeah i am using one drive (which i regret lmao i hate it), but I've checked in the one drive folder and the sims 4 folder isn't in there cAUSE OOO WEE WINDOWS HATES ME
edit: i signed out of one drive and the folder came back omg thank you so much
