@puzzlezaddict It took approx. 50 minutes and then another crash occurred. Same computer setup as previous crash (offline, clean boot, same Sims 4 folder etc.). This time, the sim was on the computer making a computer game. This is the crash log:
@reebeckaaz These are just more access violations, which are unfortunately not specific enough to be useful, at least in this context. So this might take some experimenting to figure out. First, please try moving the game to a different drive, specifically E or F (not your external). You can do so through Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Move Game, and choose a folder on one of those drives.
If that doesn't help, try playing in a new Windows admin account. Make it a local account, as in, don't sign into Microsoft, and don't sync with any of the other services you normally use. You'll be able to sign into Origin and shouldn't need to redownload anything, but your saves and other content won't be available.
While doing this, please stay in a clean boot and run Origin in offline mode, just to keep things simple. You don't need to keep your computer itself offline though.

@puzzlezaddict So I moved the game to E, then continued playing in offline-mode (though with the computer being online). A crash occurred after approx. 40-50 minutes. This is the crash log:
@puzzlezaddictSo I tried creating a new Windows account and following your instructions for playing on that one, since I had a crash even after moving the game to my E drive.
The day before yesterday, the game was able to run on its own for 2-3 hours on this new account without crashing, so I was hopeful that this was the solution. However, I let the game play on its own today as well and unfortunately it crashed after about 1,5 hours. This is the crash report:

(Unfortunately it is in Swedish, as I had forgotten to change the language settings for this new account. Hopefully you can understand the context, otherwise I will try to translate. My apologies).
@reebeckaaz You don't need to translate anything or apologize for the Swedish. All the relevant information is in Windows's language anyway, and since the format is the same in any language, I can find that info just as easily.
This is, unfortunately, just another access violation. In case you're wondering, c0000005 is Windows for "access violation," which means the faulting module, in this case Simulation_x64.dll, tried to access a memory address in a way that is not permitted. But aside from mod-related issues and a few in-game bugs, it can be pretty difficult to track down exactly what's causing this type of error.
So that means that the next steps are uninstalling and reinstalling the game and any resources it uses. This is the order I'd suggest trying, but you can really try any order if you want, for example if you have slow internet and want to put off redownloading all of Sims 4.
As a first step, run a couple of basic checks on your Windows system files:
Hit Windows key-X
Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes into the window, and enter
The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key-X again
Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator)”
Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes into the window, and enter
Post the message you receive here. If that message is that sfc found corrupt files and was unable to repair some of them, please stop here and let me know.
Restart your computer, hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the box to check for updates. If any install, restart again afterwards.
Launch Revo again and uninstall Origin, and when it's uninstalled, select "Moderate" again and Scan.
If Revo finds any remaining registry entries, select all, delete, and click Next.
Revo will display "Remaining Data and Folders. Select all of them except for the "Origin Games" folder, if it appears. (This is where other Origin games are installed by default.) Delete the rest.
Close Revo, and restart your computer.
Next, download the full Origin installer and run it. Here's the direct download link:
Be sure to run both the installer and Origin itself as an admin: right-click on each and select "Run as Administrator." When it's reinstalled, download Sims 4; you can just download the base game, to save time, if you want. Please install both Origin and Sims 4 on E or F rather than C or D.
Restart after installing and before playing, and allow the game to create another new Sims 4 user folder rather than reusing an existing one.
To uninstall and reinstall the VC++ runtimes Sims 4 uses, hit Windows key-i, select Apps, and scroll down to the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables. Click on each version from 2010, 2013, and 2015-2022, and select Uninstall. Download new copies of each one from Microsoft:
In each case, you need both the x86 and the x64 versions, but you can skip the ARM or IA64 versions, so that's six runtimes to install in all. Note: all the runtimes are available in the last link, but the site sometimes gets weird if you're not signed into a Microsoft account, so I posted the other links too. They're the same either way.

I know this is a lot, but this one is being stubborn, and the usual easy steps haven't made an impact. So it's time to do a clean sweep. You can test after each step or do multiple at a time, whichever you prefer.

I did the checks of the Windows files and this is the message I got back from the second scan: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.
As it was able to repair the files, I will continue following your steps (I intend to do all of them before testing again) but just wanted to let you know in the meantime.
@puzzlezaddict I haven't been able to play (or let the game run on its own lately) but I have at least been able to log 4 hours (of which the last hour was online) of gameplay and I am happy to say that there hasn't been a crash yet.
@puzzlezaddictHi again. Since last time, I have re-installed Windows 11 on my computer due to it being slow on start-up. Thus, my game and everything has been reinstalled. It has worked great for a couple of hours though now it crashed again. It seems to be the same problem as previously. This time, I played with Origin in online-mode in an old save file. I did not use any mods. I will attach a dxdiag and the problem details here.
@reebeckaaz It's possible that the old save file is the issue, or at least the current issue, so please test a new save. If you get another crash, I'd like to see the lastcrash file, if there is one; it would be in the Sims 4 user folder. Instructions for providing one are in this post, if you scroll down a little:
Please double-check the timestamp on the lastcrash so you know whether it's from the new save or not. I don't actually mind one from an old save, but troubleshooting an issue with a specific save is not my forte—I really only help with global crashing issues. Someone else might be able to help with a specific save though.

So, it turns out that the problem all along was that I had installed my RAM in the wrong slots... So sorry for all the hassle and thank you again for your help!
