@puzzlezaddict The message: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.
For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at
windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline
repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32>

Re: Sims 4 crashes after 5 min on my external SSD

@skullgirl111  The error 740 is likely because you used the regular version of PowerShell rather than the one with "administrator" in the name.  The commands listed require admin permissions to run.

Since sfc repaired some corrupt files, go ahead and try to play again, and if the game still crashes, please post another dxdiag.

@puzzlezaddict Omg I think it worked! I went to the intel driver&support assistant and I updated something else and my sims works fine!

Re: Sims 4 crashes after 5 min on my external SSD

@skullgirl111  That's great to hear.  I'm curious what exactly updated, if you can find out.  It should be listed in the Reliability Monitor: hit Windows key-R, enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a list of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Today is all the way on the right, and the installed update should appear with a timestamp.  It would be really helpful to know what in particular fixed this issue.

@puzzlezaddict When sims crashes "QtWebEngineProcess" from Origin stops working (I found this by prefmon/rel)
