Sims 4 Won't Open Properly

Sims 4 is really bugging me atm. So the tab will open and the game will start to load for a few seconds, but then the tab will close, say it's still open, but when I click on the icon it just closes out to my background again. I tried deleting the origin cache files, I've tried closing every other tab and just opening Sims 4, I've tried using the repair function. They all worked at some point but now none of them are and I've just tried all three and it's not happening. Does anyone have any ideas? Preferably ones that don't involve having to re-install everything because that just sounds really time-consuming :/ Also, I'm really no tech guru so if there are any ideas please like gimme a step by step lmao.

@kitbarton10  Pleae move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  Don't add anything to it yet; just see whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.  Let me know either way..

If you can't play in a clean folder, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
